*June 15th (Tuesday)* visit to a temple at the Delta and then tea with Delacourt
*June 16th (Wednesday)* Marco visits Dr Maximilian Auguste Delacourt of the L'Académie d'Archéologie de France (also a Fellow of the Academie D'ASSYRIOLOGIE ET D'ARCHEOLOGIE ORIENTALE)
Marco went to Delacourt's house near the ruined minaret. Showed Delacourt the missing heart and the debonair Frenchman agreed to help him get an item. Met with Celestine (his sinister ally)
*June 17th* (Thu) tomb raid of Seraphis's Mummy and raid on Serpant-Men ceremony Serpent-Men ceremony
Trip to Seraphis tomb. Snuck up to top of cliff and climbed down. Destroyed 3 zombies, sorted out Seraphis mummy and discovered her reason for sealing herself in her tomb (final battle at the Gate of the Mountains of the Moon due at the forging), set up quick release of weave, healed Harry, Marco amnesia.
Seraphis heals Harry's wound…
Went back to Delacourt who was very very pleased with Marco's success…
Trip down to Cairo catacombs.
*June 18th* (Fri) night raid on Al Kubrah's ceremony and Reynier dies

George in jodpurs with shotgun. Marco with sawed off and Mauser broomhandle. Harry with sabre and pump action + colt automatic

- Harry frenzies (ranting about Imperial justice)

- George shoots neatly through the Eye of the Serpent god and kills the high priestess
*June 19th* (Sat) expedition upriver commences
Trip down the Nile in luxury river boat (soon to be assigned as a hospital ship on the Tigris!)
Lyris murders Reynier (Delacourt's procurer of antiquities) - green weave tentacle entity turns up to collect him, soul destroyed by red weave to dismiss the creature… Cockroaches everywhere…
Attack on Al Kubhra's HQ, George kills the ringleader but the pathologist confirms that the body has no 'weave' burns up its arm (I based him upon Sir Sydney Alfred Smith who actually arrived in Cairo in 1917 - see his memoir of the period 'Mostly Murder')..

Looked round the temple and the step pyramid built by Imhotep - Harriet very excited… Examined Seraphis's home, George found bracelet, cultists watched the party. Came up with idea of making memory bag
*June 22nd* (Tue) visit El Amarna
Akanaten and Nefrititi's sun temple which blocked flow down Nile. Silly billies. Cult destroyed and Tutenakten became Tutunkamen.
*June 23rd* (Wed) arrive at Karnak where Lyris gets longings and heroes nearly squashed
Nubian attacks while the party is in the Great Hypostyle Hall in the Temple Precinct of Amun-Re, drops rock on Harry and races away - only to discover that English Public Schools prepare their 'gels' for any eventuality… The locals are amazed…
When George enters the Inner sanctum of Amun the hidden iscriptions are illuminated by Quetzalcoatl…
The Nile is the key to the forging… Weave linking the Valley of the Werewolves and the Mountains of the Moon to the great tree 'Yggdrasil'… Whoever masters the Nile controls the Song of Gaia…
The party note that there is a weave signature for those that come through the gate and that Lyris has the pattern… She came through 1000 years ago along with black nothingness (something Seraphis mentioned earlier and perceived even in her tomb)

Ciarfiacc enters the Inner Sanctum of the Hidden God (Amun) and activates the inscriptions that 'junior' illuminted for the party… He runs his hand along the stone and the hieroglyphs shift and burn bright red… He laughs and turns away, delighted by the progress of his fell scheme… "As I hoped, drawn like a moth to a flame...."
