Scene 5 - Escape

The last part of the adventure was to escape the demons and vampires responding to the alarms and flee through Hell to somewhere they could create a gate back to Anyang.

As the heroes watched the gate to the Halls of the Dead close, it was time to leave Feng Du. Completely failing to tidy up before they left.

Impasa called the gestalt spiritform into 8 horses (one rather larger for Gorgo) as the remaining spirits into a shining arrow. Mysuki dashed back to the book room to pick up her traesure, lighter than she expected.

They all mounted up and rode out of the Crstal Room as Tanaida revealed her true form, sending panic through the attackers.

Apart from one of the Lords of Death who moved to block their escape! Impasa fired an arrow which erupted into 100 spirits, rending the soul of the Lord Of Death.

Over the long chase through Hell, the vampires and demons drew closer. Close to the edge of Feng Du, Anya was sent forward to make the gate whilst the others held back the pursuit.

Mysuki picked a killing ground and they stood their defence against the approaching hordes. Arrow, katana, mace, rapier and White Death was enough to halt them as Lyris prepared a spell. As she collapsed the others noticed something brushing vampies and demons aside to reach them.

"hell hath no fury like a demon scorned" seemed appropriate as Fabian's jilted demon lover stormed in. Beaten off for the time, Fabian may have future issues.

With a lull in the attack, the party neatly escaped Feng Du. Gone but not forgotten.
