Selene's Flurry

 Song of Falling Rain has been a member of the circus all her life. She was born into it, her mother and her mother’s mother before her all being herbalists, alchemists and traditional lore-keepers. Song inherited her mother’s mantle early and from a young age became the studious figure consulted by all manner of people in the towns and villages along the route for everything from astrological charts to medicines for children. Between stops she casts off the image and relaxes a little more, though spends more time in her wagon crafting potions for the circus than perhaps she should. Her research has become friend and confidante and she is as devoted to her learning as she is to any of her comrades.

  Olvir Boarcatcher is a strongman and has been with Selene’s Flurry for a good few years now. His early childhood wasn’t a happy one and he ran away from his old life and found home with the circus. A natural performer and jolly soul he took to the lifestyle easily and his act always pulls in the crowds and his antics have everyone, including the usually serious Song laughing around the camp fires at the end of the day. He has a friendly Teyra named Teela who’s never far from his side since he rescued her from a boar (which earned him his name). His quest to become the most powerful man in Creation has no-one doubting he’ll push any boundary to achieve his goals.

 Caelan hasn’t joined Selene’s Flurry yet. The son of a militiaman in Brightwater, his life has been one of sedate learning and stolen adventures with childhood friends, work in and around the castle and studies in martial arts and techniques of war as befits a young man of status. It seems he’s left the city for as-yet unrevealed reasons. Adept with a bow and accompanied by his faithful horse we must assume he’s fled the city for adventures and only time will tell what he finds...
