The party followed Schlact's trail and discovered several of his expedition crucified along the pathway leading to the great mountain… In the shadow of the Shira Cone, the party discovered the Kraal of the Oloiboni Laibon (Witch King) of Kilmanjero…

Hundreds of warriors and dozens of Oloiboni (witches) were dancing in celebration of their sinister master's power… The party watching horror as it became apparant that the whole ceremony was a preparation for a savage human sacrifice...  One of the dancers was particularly skilled and the Oloiboni Laibon seemed fascinated by her - as soon as he pointed at her, the dancer span round and burst into laughter… Her features shifted and it became obvious that she was far more powerful that the coven gathered to destroy her...

Sensing their moment, the party rushed down to take on the distracted cultists. Marco made a bee-line for Oloiboni Laibon at which point the witch-king summoned 2 were-vultures who were cirling above. Sinclair leapt up at them, fatally slashing one and grabbing the second who was dragged to the ground and run through.

Harry (who had sent Jesus back with instructions for the fey Council if the party didn't return) cut a swath through the cultists with sabre and admonistrations for their heathen ways.

George and Lyris dodged and bludgeoned their way to the sacrifice point to stop more bodies being thrown in. In the course of this they saved the rather dazed Schlact from a timely death (every silver lining has a gey cloud....)

Shrugging off Oloiboni's magically induced ageing, Marco picked up the wizened old man and threw him into the maelstrum. Job done, it seemed.

However, Domnu's trap was not just intended for the sinister Oloiboni Laibon… Her laughter crew ever more malevolent as the gate opened and the party were dragged into the vortex...

The world they woke upon was a dead Fey Realm on the other side of the galaxy… Red weave poured from the sky showing that life thrived in the mortal realm but the realm itself was shattered and lifeless…

Ciarfiacc seemed amused by the whole process and informed the party that he had used Lyris as the vessel for a soul key long ago… While he had no idea of her true origin (he was almost certainly lying), her peculiar soulweave made it strangely capable of being bound to other weaves - hence the realm shifting ability… (PS Note - this is a regrettably necessary change to the original plot and is non-negotiable)

Ciarfiacc guided the party to the tombs of the Sidhe Emperors that once ruled the 1000 worlds dominated by the Red Star citadel… The Tomb of Andarash was deep within the mountain and beyond countless devastated chambers…

Ciarfiacc used the weave woven into Lyris' mark to open the final chamber and the party ransacked the tomb…

As the party headed for the surface, the guardians of the Red Citadel realised that the inner sanctum had been breached… Following the ancient rituals, they poured into the ruins and closed in on the party…

The escape became a running battle and only Sinclair's recognition of the guardian's arcane honour code and stupendous fighting skill enabled the party the party to gain the time they needed to flee from the nightmare…

The party returned to the battle on the mountain and took advantage of the chaos and escaped down the mountain to the safety of the lower slopes…
Ciarfiacc seemed delighted by the progress of his plan… His uncle's weapons (stolen millenia ago) were retrieved and the Oloiboni Laibon was dead - making a Sidhe bid to seize the gate possible… He bade Lyris farewell - warning that the game wasn't over and opened a gateway to Yggdrasil so the party could return to the council..
