Ruby Tower

Synopsis

The Ruby Tower lies within the Anathema's lands, near a small mining town. It is believed to store the power of the Sun. However, it is well defended with traps and is difficult to use. Intellegence indicates that the Sorcerer King has sent an expedition to claim the Tower for his own.

The Dragon-Blooded have dispatched a raiding party with the goal of denying the Socerer king access to these resources.

Dragon-Blooded Factions

Dragon Blooded

One unit of Dragon Blooded is with the raiding force. If they make it to the tower for 5 rounds undisturbed they can disable the tower. They can be disguised as a unit of any of the 3 faction below. However, in combat their nature becomes clear as their aura becomes animated. If on horseback they must dismount at this point.

Helmsguard Borderers

Helmsguard Borderers orginate in the roaming defense forces that ensure that Helmsguard borders are clear of the Wyld creatures that make it through the dangerous forests that lie on its Borders. Whilst they can function as Cavalry if needed - they are most dangerous when they dismount and deploy the fearsome Helmsguard longbows.

They can cover similar distances in a day to medium and light Cavalry.
