Tieflings get Int and Cha bonuses, which helps as Int is a primary stat. Str is secondary; dex is required for the Heavy Blade feat tree. Wandering Duelist background fits rather nicely with your Ronin feeling. It provides a healthy boost to Intimidation, which is the only skill your face couldn't manage. 11: 12: As a minor action you can "mark" a target within 2 squares of you. If the target attacks someone other than you, then you teleport to their side and hit them. You can only make a basic melee attack, which makes the feat Intellegent Blademaster rather useful. Booming blade allows you to tie up a second enemy in addition to the one you can mark normally. Sword burst allows you to attack everyone adjacent to you, should you be too successful at attracting attention.
